Annual Gala — Presenting Sponsor (~$35K). The premier sponsorship opportunity. One presenting sponsor per Annual Gala. Includes: name on the event ('Cufflinks SD Annual Gala, presented by [Brand]'), opening remarks by sponsor executive (5 minutes), branded venue presence throughout, branded photography opportunity, table for 10 at the gala, post-event attendee list (those who opted in), social and email coverage in the 60-day pre-event marketing, post-event recap content with brand inclusion, and a year-long brand relationship with the community. The Annual Gala draws 280 executives plus media; presenting-sponsor visibility is among the most prominent brand positions available in the San Diego executive community.

Spring Executive Summit — Lead Sponsor (~$25K). One lead sponsor per Summit. Includes: branded event positioning, executive on the panel program, branded venue presence, table for 8, post-event attendee list, social/email coverage, and access to the closed-door Patron's Reception following the Summit. The Summit audience skews more senior than the Gala (executives only), which makes the lead sponsor positioning particularly valuable for B2B brands targeting senior decision-makers.

Monthly Mixer — Hosting Sponsor (~$8K). One hosting sponsor per monthly mixer. Includes: branded venue presence at the mixer, hosted bar branding (signature drink in sponsor color or with sponsor name), brief sponsor remarks (3 minutes), and post-event attendee list. Eight monthly mixers per year are sponsorship-eligible; sponsors can repeat or rotate. Hosting sponsorship is the most accessible entry point for brands testing the Cufflinks SD audience.

Industry Roundtable — Sector Sponsor (~$5K). One sector sponsor per quarterly industry roundtable (Real Estate, Finance, Legal, Healthcare). Includes: positioning as the roundtable's brand sponsor, executive sponsor's remarks during the roundtable opening, branded materials available at the roundtable, and access to the full attendee list. Particularly valuable for sector-specialized B2B services (legal-tech, fintech for advisors, healthcare RCM, real-estate-tech).

Showcase or Expo — Lounge Sponsor (~$8K each). Branded networking lounge at our showcases and expos. Sponsor brand visible throughout the lounge, lounge programming co-curated with sponsor, attendee list, and on-site lead capture. Yacht Cruise / Reception — Hosted Cocktail (~$6K). Premium signature-drink branding at on-water events. Beyond the standard packages, we coordinate custom sponsorships for brands with specific audience or content goals. Past custom sponsorships have included: a branded executive dinner series (six dinners/year, sponsor-curated guest list within Cufflinks SD member parameters), branded content series (sponsor-funded panels at multiple events throughout the year), and venue partnerships (long-term sponsorship of monthly mixers at a specific venue with co-branding). How do I become a sponsor? add
Email [email protected] with your brand, target audience, and rough budget. We'll send the current sponsorship deck. Conversation typically takes 2-3 calls before signing.
Do you only accept B2B sponsors? add
Primarily. Our audience is executives, founders, and operators — B2B services targeting that audience perform best. We've also worked with select consumer brands targeting executives (luxury automotive, wealth-management services, premium travel). Brand fit and audience-product alignment matter more than B2B/B2C designation.
Can I sponsor a single mixer to test the audience? add
Yes. Single-event hosting sponsorship at the monthly mixer level is the most common entry point. Sponsors who like the audience often expand into additional events or signature sponsorship the following year.
Will I get a list of attendees? add
Yes — those who opted in to share their information. We don't share information from attendees who haven't opted in (typically 80-90% opt-in rate). Lists include name, company, role, and contact details based on opt-in level.
Can sponsors run lead-capture booths? add
At showcases and expos, yes — that's part of the lounge sponsorship. At mixers and signature events, no — the format isn't lead-capture-driven and we don't want sponsor positioning to distract from member experience. Sponsor brand visibility happens through ambient placement and structured speaking moments.
Do you turn down sponsors? add
Yes — for brand fit, audience-product alignment, or category saturation. We've turned down financial-services sponsors when we already had a financial-services sponsor for that event. We've turned down brands whose values clashed with the community standard. Selectivity is part of why sponsorship works at Cufflinks SD.
How long does sponsor onboarding take? add
Standard sponsorships need 60 days lead time for proper integration with marketing and content. Annual Gala presenting sponsorship needs 90+ days. Custom sponsorships need 6+ months. We don't accept rush sponsorships at scale that would compromise quality of integration.
Are there year-round sponsorship options? add
Yes. The Annual Sponsor Program — $75-$100K depending on package — secures presence across multiple events throughout the year (typically Annual Gala plus Spring Summit plus 2-3 industry roundtables). Better economics than buying single sponsorships separately, and the year-round visibility produces stronger brand-association results.
