What's worth attending in San Diego this week.
Most weeks in San Diego have between fifteen and twenty-five professional networking events, depending on the season. Spring (April through June) and fall (September through November) are peak — three to five Our san diego networking events this week services ensure events many evenings. Summer slows slightly; mid-July through Labor Day is the lightest stretch. December has a holiday-event surge in the first three weeks, then near-silence between Christmas and New Year.
This page surfaces what's worth attending this week — Cufflinks SD events plus vetted partner events. Refreshed daily. The events are filtered through the same curation we apply to our main calendar: track record of host, format, attendee profile, and venue quality. The weekly view is more useful than the monthly view if you're making 'should I go tonight or next week' decisions. Learn more about our san diego networking events this week offerings.
Three things to know about this week's calendar specifically. First, sold-out events have waitlists — if you're flexible, get on the list because cancellations open seats roughly 48 hours before the event. Second, last-minute additions appear here first; partner organizations sometimes post events with only a week of lead time. Third, we mark events with 'last seats' badges when fewer than ten spots remain so you can prioritize.
What we do differently.
Curated Rooms
Every guest list is reviewed. We protect the room — that's why decision-makers keep coming back. Quality over headcount.
Real Introductions
Beyond the mixer — our team makes warm intros, hosts industry roundtables, and runs the directory. Networking is the start, not the whole product.
San Diego Focused
Built in San Diego, for San Diego. Downtown, La Jolla, Del Mar, Coronado, Carmel Valley. We know the venues, the people, the rhythm of the city.
What a typical San Diego networking week looks like
Across most weeks, the calendar mix runs roughly like this:
Monday. Light night for networking, generally. Some industry-specific groups (Estate Planning Council, certain bar association sections) hold Monday meetings. Less crowded; good for serious one-on-one conversations if anything is on.
Tuesday and Wednesday. Typically the heaviest networking nights — chambers run their evening mixers, industry associations meet, partner events stack up. Two to four events most weeks. If you can only attend one weeknight, Tuesday or Wednesday give the most options.
Thursday. Cufflinks SD's flagship monthly mixer is the second Thursday of each month — that's the highest-density networking night of the month for our community. Other Thursdays have a mix of accelerator events, member dinners, and industry roundtables.
Friday. Lunch events (CEO roundtables, advisory-board breakfasts) happen Fridays. Evening networking is lighter — most professionals are with family or running between weekend commitments.
Saturday and Sunday. Rare for true business networking. Annual signature events sometimes land on weekends (Spring Executive Summit is Saturday-Friday); industry associations hold weekend conferences. Otherwise quiet.
The calendar this week shows what's actually happening. If a category isn't represented (no industry roundtable, no daytime event), it usually means we don't have one this week — not that we've hidden it. Refresh tomorrow morning for any newly added events.
A practical tip from veteran members: if your week is busy, prioritize the highest-density night (usually the second Thursday for our monthly mixer or whatever night is hosting your industry's roundtable). One excellent event beats three okay ones every time.

Last-minute RSVP tips
If you're checking the calendar same-week and want to RSVP for an event tonight or in the next few days, three tips. One: sold-out events often release seats 48 hours out — the cancellation rate runs about 8-12% for paid events. Get on the waitlist; we'll text when a seat opens. Two: same-day walk-ups are usually accepted for Cufflinks SD mixers if you check 'walk-up available' on the event page. Don't show up to a sold-out partner event without confirming. Three: dress for the venue, not the event description — when in doubt, business casual works for 90% of San Diego networking. The dress code on each event page is reliable; trust it.
I check Cufflinks every Monday morning. It runs my week.
